No. Not with the current Cobra model. The model in-game is a bastardization of characteristics of the current AH-1W SuperCobra and the now in prototype stage AH-1Z Viper/King Cobra.

The AH-1W is capable of launching Sidewinders, but does not have launch rails on the tips of the stub wings; it has to carry them in lew of other ordnance on the underwing pylons. The AH-1W stub wings are on BF2's alleged AH-1Z model.

AH-1Z has larger stub wings with launch rails on the wingtips, so under optimal conditions it can carry Sidewinders on those rails in addition to Hellfires/rockets/whatever underneath the wings.

This might not work yet for the cobra, but when you guys make an apache anti air missles would be awsome. The gunner should control these though.

You should have told him to take BF2 back and euthinasia should be practiced.
