tons of varients from supply to troop trans. in fallujah we use what we called the turtle
pretty much designed to encase the personal to protect them from IEDs and heavy machine gun attacks. holds 2 squads easy and usally mounted with a saw or m240 (convoy security guys use the mark-19 and what not).
idk how bad balanceing would be but heres a varient which is alot easier to get shot in and blow up in before the armor was designed which was used back in 03ish

our up-armoreds were mounted with SAWs or M240s and im sure everyone seen the pictures of the half backs that look like its a humvee with a armored box in the back.
also if im guessing right to have the intese gameplay you guys would time frame it around phatom fury or any of the retaking operations they had and you gotta throw in those AAVs, pic not required im sure.
If any other time frame of that area a cool game mode were the objective would be IED planting/hunting kinda like a PR game of chess were insurgents try to plant IEDs on roads via diging and wrenching or somthing and marines patrol it trying to catch em in the act or get blown up. this is prolly a far fetched idea im sure.
but its still a great mod and i saw the area you used just wish ya guys made it in the area of the infamous contracter bridge.
