HMGs
I suggest that:
The sandbags on the side of the HMGs you can deploy near forward outposts are made higher. This because you have little to no cover from the sides when manning these MGs, which makes the sandbags there pretty much useless, unless your prone and next to the MG. But that's probably not the point of those things. You have to have cover from the sides when manning the MG, which you don't have at the moment.
I'd say make them atleast as high as the normal sandbags, with just a gap in the middle for the MG. Or remove the sandbags on the HMGs, atleast that way you won't have a false feeling of safety when manning them.

Yeah, they pretty much only cover half of you while manning the MG and you're pretty vulnerable.
I think the MG's need tweaked with a wider arch of fire, and greater angles of elevation and depression.

Also, the MGs are way to accurate. MGs IRL are designed to supress targets, you can only do that if the bullets spread out a bit. At the moment they all go in a straight line, like lasers or something.
I'm not talking much, but just a little more spreading of those bullets when fired would increase the realism.

I like the change of the gun position, but the cone of fire is terrible. I think coax is fine, thou i havent see a coax in real life that is as accurate as a sniper rifle with a lenght of 10 meters... so that means the spread needs to be added a little bit...
When i shoot at helicopters with a .50 cal , vodnik or similar - 8-10 seconds and the heli is a falling toast...
So yeah we need a little spread....i wish they would add that in the miniguns...

Yeah seems a little silly that you'd be out in the open like that, you can deploy sandbags and such round them but it shouldn't have to be done.
I don't mind the dip and it being to the right slightly, that seems pretty reasonable to me, just the spread is a bit much for something attached to a god knows how many tonne turret that stays pretty stable when you fire a 120mm shell, nevermind a 7.62 MG.

A lot of guns are accurate when you vice them. They have those robots that can shoot with insane precision when equipped with a SAW. The coxial guns on the tanks are essentially viced. What they did to the Coax was move the barrel a bit, so it's not alligned with the cross-hairs. That's a little hard to do with an MG when you're behind it and looking down the barrel. It's the main reason the overall accuracy of a tank's MG has dropped. I don't think that's what he means though, the spread you get now is a far cry from the laser beam of tracers you got in .75 and before. The been a bit to a right doesn't really put me off cos I aim the MG with the tracers, well I used to before they were so all over the place it's not even really worth aiming properly at long distance targets, might as well just shoot in the general direction till they die.
Hopefully this whole sandbag thing is only a small tweak so they can fit it in the next release, seems like they've done/added alot to the deployables for .85 which should be ace.
