Programming bots question...

Quick question from a BF2 and mod rookie. Is there any way to program the computer bots within one of the maps/scenarios for BF2? For example, if I wanted to set-up a particular scenario and post computer controlled guards and patrols in a map, does BF2 allow that degree of control among its bots? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
