improve healh system

i have searched under health and system but could not find anything..so..here is my idea

now when a medic heals you it seems like he put blood back into and your all good again...not really real

my plan is if you get shot and are bleeding a medic can heal you just to stop the bleeding and effects of bleeding but now its easier for you to bleed to death faster (e.g. lets say it takes like idk..4 pistol shots to kill you..u get hit once..a medic stops the bleeding..now it takes 3 shots to critically wound you you..u get shot once again medic stops bleeding now it takes 2 shots to critically wound you..repeat until it takes one to critically wound you)...when you do become critically wounded you only can be revived twice...on the third time your dead...closer to realism than it is now


this is probably impossible to code but its worth asking imo..and i know people are gonna say "aw its already hard enough as infantry!!!11!!"..well i play infantry a lot and i wouldn't mind having this system because remember..every thing that happens to you can and will happen to your enemy :razz:

Good thinking but it might hurt gameplay. And this could make the medic role even more neglected.

- With the incredible fall damage, one would now even easier die just because one lagged a second and fell off a 1 meter object.

hardcoded m8 as the status is bound to health and there is no way of stopping it at the 80% level sadly, it's all or nothing i believe.

Suggested before I afraid. Try medic or healing instead of just your topic title in searches.

imo thats replacing an unrealistic system with another unrealistic system, best to just accept that engine limitations will prevent you going where you want to go in this case.

The most realistic situation (as I and others have said in other threads) is having to extract wounded, but this doesn't work on a 16 sized map.

how do i know that im just a little injured?
in manual it says:when your health drops below 75% there will be several cues...flashes etc...
how do i know that im hurt just 87%?

sometimes in a heat of the battle i dont know should i throw my field dressing in a ground just heal my minor injury.
anyone understand?

Any way to have the bandages raise the player health to non-bleeding status but not work beyond that?

afaik the game only understands you're less or more than x%

and anyway, one field dressing won't stop bleeding from a serious wound. (if blood shows through bandage, place another on top, if it goes through that, remove and apply new bandage)

I think people will be happier with field dressings once the deploy time is decreased in .85

Why not make bandages into medkits that only heal up to x% with the vanilla medkit ammo bar. The more hurt you are the more bandages you use but it just stops bleeding.

They could work faster then a medkit. So a medic could choose to bring people up from revived state faster.
