Due to the maps being very wide and open, howsabout an AP mines scatterer? The Brit Army has one, and the mines move like sycamore (sp) seeds - half propellor affairs. The vehicle itself is tracked (based on, IIRC, a 432 chassis), but with no real armour. Can't remember if its got an MG on it either. I daresay EvilHomer could help with this one....
With the AP mines, they WOULD affect soft skinned vehicles (buggies) very badly, and the slightly larger vehicles (Humvees / Vodniks) would get a fair amount of damage, but not immediately fatal.And perhaps to cunterract it, a flail, again as used by Brit Engineers. Similar chassis, but with a ruddy great drum on the front to which are attached chains. If tahts too powerful, then mebbes the engineer can remove a swathe through the minefield( but not wide enough for a vehicle), in a similar way as they do for AT mines with the wrench.
OR........... (sorry) a static mounted launcher with a reasonably large arc of fire, but not that covers more than, say, 30% of an approach to a flag....
