Bodyarmour

Post by =EB=Reaper »

This is my first suggestion, so take it easy on me ;) .

Well as the forum topic says, should the british & americans be able to have bodyarmour across there chest and back? since you see on the news and images on the internet that soldiers are saved because of there front bodyarmour.

Im not even sure this is possible in battlefield 2, but if you can add bodyarmour to soldiers in pr, so that when they get shot say in the chest they dont take as much damage and start bleeding?

so the most damage you can take is from the leg, the head, the arms.

What do you guys think?

sorry if this is already been posted its three in the morning and im tierd :) good excuse :)

I thought they already did and this is why spec ops die easier because of lack of body armor?

Body armor isn't perfect, there are old calibers (like the 7.62x25 used in PPsh for militia medics) that can pop through kevlar like nobodies business. Body armor gives more protection, but not space marine armor. :)

The default factions (MEC, USMC, PLA) have two player models, one with no visible body armor (light) and the other with visible armor (heavy). In vBF2 this corresponds between kits that have body armor and those that don't. In PR, whether or not it is visible, you have body armor for the conventional armies, while the other armies either have light body armor, or none at all.

i think that has to do with something else. I've seen someone get shot in the head and the poof while prone, but no damage be done.

simple test.

US soldier chest shot from sniper rifle, injured.

insurgent, chest shot, dead.
