Yesterday was the first time in a long time that I played PR again. I guess the last time was way back with version 0.5 or 0.4.
A lot of things have changed, and maybe some of you can answer a couple of questions these changes (not only changes actually) have made me ask.
1.
Where are the night-maps? I remember having a blast on a couple of the nightmaps. Are they out and not coming back?
2.
Am I the only one who can't aim with the AK? With the new ironsights, aiming is nearly impossible. The aiming-thingy at the end of the barrel (I don't know what it's called) doesn't stand out from the rest of the aiming mechanism.
It could be because I use a widescreen monitor with a native res. of 1680x1050. (I'll post a screenshot later)
3.
Is it normal that I walk around for ~15 minutes without spotting a single enemy?
The thing I now mostly do in PR is walking from one point of thet map to the other (when my SL hasn't created a rallypoint. And even then it's mostly walking.)
To be honest: this is the part of PR that I dislike the most. I think the firefights are great, the gameplay is excellent, but most of the time nothing happens.

1. Gone...The only night map in PR i know has been changed to Daylight.
2. Have no problem hitting with it, although i heard complaints about the iron sight before.
3. Yep, maps are bigger i guess.

2. I run the same resolution and have no problem, i'll wait to see your issue.
3. Depends on maps. On smaller maps like Al Kufra or Kyong ni you will most probally see the enemy sooner than Quinling or Kashan. Insurgency maps especially while on the insurgent team can be a trip since some rally points are not near the rest the team is.

No its not normal. I remember this when I started playing PR, I would walk for miles, then get shot without ever seeing an enemy. Now I understand the game better and work with a squad (especially with voip) there is loads of action.
One of the things you must remember is if your squad is rubbish you will have a rubbish time. Leave and find a decent one as that is the best way to find a good time in PR.
