PR SP, what are the goals?

Post by McBumLuv »

Please do not take any offense from this, but I was hoping to get a discussion about what pr sp is in relation in pr mp. Is it an add-on to allow people to still play pr whenever there is a problem with their internet? Is it to allow players to practice, either alone or in coop, with the various assets against enemies without ruining public games? Or is it simply to take a break off of pr and try and relax with some quicker and less stressful gameplay?

I ask because it is an important factor to know when you want to suggest something, and I believe that aside from being only for players without good internet connections, it's also a combination of what I've mentionned above.

Oh, and thanks for any replies. :)

I use it to play with a mate who gets the wireless problem, it's also good for getting new players familiar with the weapons in PR.

That, and zombie mode :p .

I think the goals are for everyone different. Someone wants to relax, the next has maybe a w-lan problem and the third wants to try out, how different vehicles work, without disturbing teammates or even bringin' them in trouble.

For my part, I play PRSP, because I have no Headset in the moment, and MP without Headset simply s**ks for teamwork^^

It's all of those things and whatever you want it to be, also it gives peeps a chance to edit the files and learn how the coding works with out messing up their MP files.
Plus the fact it can be just good fun... but don't take it too seriously as it's obviously not the same experience as MP due to the limitations of the BF2 engine.

asset whoring is what I do in PRSP

also to enjoy the experience of a multitude of enemies against my 3 ai comrades

I would use it to practice, training and such, but I'm not sure of what is different between the releases

My ping is always way too high to play online, so PR_SP is the only way I get to play PR...

Personally I'm very interested in making PRSP a testing platform for official development..
