Updated Marine loadouts

Hi there,

For this already great mod to get even better, one of my suggestions would be to reskin the U.S Marines Corp loadouts. They are wrong and unrealistic. This may be obvious and brought up before, but hey.

In my opinion, standard Marines should'v had:
  • Coyote Brown colored Point Blank OTV's with neck and groin protection
  • Eagle Industries vest pouches (-not hanging down below the belt!)
  • Gentex PASGT helmets (new strap system for neck)
  • M16A4 with Acog scopes (for Assault/Rifleman)
  • Standard M16A2 (for medic)
  • Neck Gator (all units)
  • Night Vision mount would be a nice touch

- This is just my opinion thought. You may think this is unecessary.

The small details always make a mod look special. I like it.

if we get groin protection we should have kicking as a weapon so you can wedge one between thier legs.

Melee would be great for extreme CQB.

I agree with the topic creator. The way the in-game marines look (as well as their loadouts) aren't realistic.

I'd love it if the Project Reality marines looked like the ones in the pic

Those look bad *** compared to the default game Marines. Especially dig the neck protection and the vest pouches.

Super fasion makes them look rich to Iraqi's?

So if this is add'ed to PR, will the MEC get the same/similar stuff, will China too?

USMC players should get eyewear, tinted or not.

Well if they have glass'es i want some too, China and the new British team should have a pair of BOSS high style titanium.

The MEC should ware the ever fationable red-checkerd tea-cloth.

I think the character models should actually look like their respective nations' soldiers, and not fatasses wearing snowsuits.

Welcome aboard. We do plan to include the M16A4 for the rifleman class, but the ACOG will not always be the mounted optic (M68 is a possibility also). M16A2 for the medic / hospital corpsman and the combat engineers will also be the default weapon. :)

Cool good to see the support role guys using the previous dated equipment(M-16A4)

But the updated Marines would be nice, whenever you guys figure out how to modify or create your own soldier model and animate it.

ay, yes, then have it do zero damage, but makes the victim feel the effects of a flashbang

Thats an intersting idea actually. Would id be possible to simulate a round hitting body armour? eg, blurred vision, some heavy breathing sound effects etc.

I definitely think getting hit by rounds or grenades needs to shock your more.

technically u would not die from hits from 7.62 mm ball round if ur wearing an OTV armour and assuming ur SAPI plates are intact. You are likely to get knocked the jeebuz out of you but you will be otherwise fine. If you are hit again in the same spot though then you are likely to be goner, unless they are using the improved SAPI plates.
