Question about Kits

Do you lose points when you die with an "unlimited" requestable kit?
For example, if you die with a crewman kit or a pilot kit, do you recieve negative -10 points as when you do with other requestable kits, such as Grenadier or Automatic Rifleman?

I've thought about this question when I was reading in the "Tactics and Strategies" section and someone mentioned using a crewman kit to clear bunkers on Kashan.
