Apology if this has been mentioned before, I imagine it has.
Idea:
Remove the ability to view your score ingame (tab). Therefore, the only time you will see what score you have and what position you finished in will be when the round ends.
why:
The feature of not knowing if you've hit an enemy (no crosshair flash) and no knowing if you've killed them (no hud text) is undermined by the fact that a player can note their score and check to see if they've been awarded a point for a kill. You shouldn't worry about your score until you can relax at the end of a round.
I was about to suggest that. Totally agree with you. Another thing that could work as well would be counting kills 5 seconds after you got 'em, or counting them when the enemy player on "critically wounded" dies.
I would rather see some other things change like maybee new game modes or something like that. Every one likes to gloat over thier scores from time to time. Even Scarface has his in his sig
I like to play a game because it's good, not because it's cool showing off my "1337 skillz". 3/4 of the people who play America's Army do so, with the Honor and the tracking system and it sucks. ABR may stay, but the in-game scoring system needs to be changed...
Like I said, I'm not saying that scoring should be removed from the game totally - just that it should only be viewable at the end of the game (round).
I' for that idea too that you can only see the player/score tab while you're dead and in the end of round. Because now as it is that doesn't make a difference if you don't see instantly if you killed someone or not, for example I always check my score after a "burst" and see if I killed anyone. I would like it if I really didn't know always if I had killed someone.
But this idea seems logical as we are trying to promote teamwork. However, I agree with the person that said that you should still be able to see the ping and things like that, just not the score.
