Punkbuster is a joke there has to be something else we could use instead of it. I never have trouble with any other BF2 mods and punk buster. but it PR is Ridiculous. I had to re install delete and reinstall it 7 times today to get to play for a half hour. Please DEVS could we try some punk buster free servers just to see if it works then if cheating gets to bad then we can go back but using punk buster is a waste of a perfectly good mod. I and I am sure many others are fed up with PB kicks for no reason except... well that punk buster cant shake hands with punk buster B.

Sorry but I have had every day off that 0.85 has been out and I have been trying furiously to play it I have played a grand total of 2 hours in 3 days because punk buster always kicks me for dumb reason eg general problems, md5... , hand shaking, punk buster A failed to initialize connection errors. To think that the way to sole all of these issues would be to tell PB to take a hike.

I was plagued by "corrupted packet flow" errors all day. But once I actually got in and could play, I was pretty much error free. Just wish I could figure out how to 100% kill the corrupted packet flow errors and I'm good to go.
I agree that PB sucks, but hey, it caught 4 hackers on Virginia server today that I noticed. So every now and then it pulls it's weight.

yeah i get kicked by pb also, some times cos the heart beat stopped some times hand shake failure.
all i do is open pb update it and leave it open on my desk top then i get no probs (until i colapse from lack of sleep and lose another job cos of my PR addiction)
