Ok I have a few questions that need explaining about this
I have my shotgun lain out to me in a big jumble of a mess. Why?
Why is my sights looking weird? The rear sight is only a bunch of lines, its not circular, and the shell bottom was lain out in the circular fashion so why not the sights?
Why is the thing so badly deformed?
How can I set the thing up so it looks somewhat organized for texturing?
All I have right now, but I'll get more when I progress with this unwrap.
Also whats the guideline for 1P weapon model tris?

Are you talking about the UVmap chunks for the different parts of your model coming out weird looking? No quite understanding what you are asking.
But if you need help with UVmapping, I highly recommend this tutorial
