Randomly Exploding Tanks

I was playing Basrah for a couple of rounds, and three times i saw a tank just randomly explode for no reason whatsoever.

The first time, we were driving around our own base and had just come from the repair station and suddenly black screen. no explosion or anything, just dead.

Second time we were driving on the road with 0 hostiles around. We didnt drive over a mine either and people around us say they didnt see any explosions either. I was in the apc and suddenly the driver of the tank told us the tank was down over voip. We had just driven over that area and nothing had happened to us.

Last time was in the southeastern compound, an apc drove in 2 min ahead of us and we had a lot of infantry, with no enemies nearby. Suddenly we are once again staring at a dead screen, there was infantry close to the tank who didnt take any damage.

But honestly i have yet to see or hear about this bug, it sounds interesting though, wouldnt mind finding out what it is.

There are quite a few interesting glitches in BF2/PR 0.85. I've had vehciles randomly die on me. Hell, I've even been killed but was still able to walk around until the wounded/revive timer finished then I just respawned.

or your just walking in your friendly compound and suddenly die for absolutly no reason. this happend to me a couple of times, freakig weird...
