Well first you have to remember that its a game, it can only go so far in realism, also i like it, as insurgent when you have no medic around, and your bleeding badly you have a very low chance of survival so when you hit blurry it can save some time of just waiting to die off.

Maybe a surrender would be better.
The idea is if your you have no medic by you can respawn. Respawning 300m back or having your team give you and the medic cover fire and your back in is allot more exciting. When the PR team plays (and pubs too) we make it the number one priority that NO ONE gives up unless there is no way to get to that person. We've even held off huge attacks to get that one guy.
And its funny my spawns times never seems to do that high when we play

I see allot of people killing there self's in INS so the US guy don't get intel for killing him.

surrender would sound better. but if you get stuck there's no way out. people would go nuts if this was removed.

The amount of time ive got stuck in terrain, or down a cave with no grapple and a useless squad/team.
Suicide is NEEDED majorly, if it wasnt there if you got accidentally bugged into something you would have no escape but to suicide.
PR at the end of the day is a game, games will always have problems, its just there to make sure if you have one your round isnt wrecked by having to quit the server and try to get back in only to find its full.

I love this feature, dont change it please. makes it so if your team has retarded vanilla medics who dont clear the area first you can kill your self before they constantly necro your body resusitating you over and over as some enemy laughs to him self at the predicament you find your self in.

Rename it to surrender or whatever, but it has to stay in game because of people getting stuck in the terrain etc, as posted above.

In real life you wouldn't just kill youself, correct. But, in real life you wouldn't be stuck after jumping into a 3ft deep well. (just one example of the places you can get stuck in this....GAME)

just rename it to Surrender/Give Up
and on insurgency US/Brits get intel if insurgent "give up/surrender"

Actually, you could name it "de-/respawn" to make it clear that this is something that's needed because of the game mechanics and does not simulate anything.
