Changing the British LMG?

When playing as the British I couldn't stop but notice that the British were using the M249, when really they use the GPMG. Maybe the next mod, the British should use the GPMG? (M240 in a way).

The British also use the Minimi as their LMG, I think the GPMG is used on Platoon level or mainly on vehicles, the Minimi on Squad level.

the brits use the m249 or as their varient is called, the minimi. the minimi fires the 5.56 round just like the sa80 and is the british squad automatic weapon. the brits use the gpmg at a platoon level and it fires the 7.62 round as it is more of a dedicated machinegun. just like us americans use the m240. a "heavy machine gun" class has been suggested many times already but i think the jury is still out on whether the mods will implement it or not.
