that's right. saw a dude with red scarf on his head crossing the road. fired 3 rounds with the m16 at him and got reset for killing a civilian.
anyone else experienced this bug? was a pretty sad moment.

This bug has to do with the revive system. Civilians can be revived with non-civilian kits if someone switches out the civi's kit for a different kit or if the civi's kit disappears and the player has a non-civi kit selected in the spawn screen when revived. But, because the player was revived, instead of dying and respawning, all the civi rules still apply, so they have reduced sprint, can't man mounted weapons or pick up kits, and will have a spawn penalty when shot. Likewise, bluefor will be penalized for killing these "civilians" outside of the ROE.
I guess players could intentionally exploit this bug, but it doesn't confer much of an advantage, other than penalizing the poor guy who shoots the "civilian."

yea i had one shoot at me..when i shot back it says i killed a civi....oh well...he started it
