Guided Munitions And Aircraft.

Post by Pence »

I suggest misslies that can be fired from the gunner position also include missiles that are aimed by the gunner and fired with no lock on and you can fire them simultaneously too without having to wait for the first one to detonate. Or guided free fall bombs.

Second, i would like to have the helicopter's TV missiles exchanged for the missile system from the planes to be brighter and more clear.

Third, if the Harrier and Tornado are being added for the Brit's then they are at a disadvantage seeing as thogh the GR-7 cannot fight air to air and the Tornado is not very agile. Also, will anyone add them to there maps as they are older models and to some people unglamorous.

Comments/Opinions.

Good idea. Aside from that, I think the gunners in the attack helos as well as two-seated aircraft should control the entire weapons system. The pilot should only control the aircraft's movement.

I'm sure the British forces could use the F-35 or Eurofighter Typhoon as their fighter. The GR-7 and Tornado would then be used primarily for attacks against ground forces.

Yes, definately, nothink is more needed in aircraft at the moment.

I thought that only the Tornado and GR-7 are being implemented into PR.

Well, the British will be using the F-35 in real life so I don't see why you can't slap the RAF symbol on the current F-35 and say it's British.

Its not ilegal. You can make a new skin on top of the existing one. I believe a mapper once did that and changed the tank and gun skins.

I want spec ops to have laser designators that can be used to guide very deadly laser guided munitions that can replace the current dumb bombs

Right now the air to surface part of the game is so primitive because there's not even have a point on the HUD that tells you where the bomb will land. We really need some laser guided munitions to replace the unguided bombs that are in-game at the moment. It'll improve teamwork, too :-D

And for aircraft such as the Panavia Tornado and F-15E Strike Eagle, I think the crewman in charge of the weapons system should be able to guide bombs in the way that the attack helo gunners guide their missiles. It would look just like it does in those videos of the FLIR where a bomb hits a bunker/factory/etc.

Yes, pilots should deal with air-to-air and gunners should destroy the ground targets!

In attack helos the pilot can have full control of the rockets. Same with planes, pilots have full control over the Air-to-Air missles and guns, if it is a one-seater they also have full control over the laser guided bombs/missles.

With the planes needing to take more time to rearm and repair, I would like to see the dumb bombs become laser guided to atleast even it out for the pilots.

actually nevermind laser guided bomb, i'd appreciate even a simple CCIP targeting system to help with the non guided bomb.

The GR-7 can fight air-to-air with short range AAMs (it can carry two, one in front of each outrigger landing gear), but it does not have the air intercept radar of the retired Sea Harrier. The RAF also scrapped the 25mm cannon pod.

So when you run out of missiles, you cant go winchester.

RAF = Fools.

RAF did the strangest thing these days, they scrapped the cannon for typhoon as well, though they are putting it back now thx to the fiasco with the plane's stability issue.
