Is it possible to get an animation to where when you go into the gun view your character actually like moves downwards looking into the sights?

But they dont have sights, they just move there head other wise it would be stupidly uncomfortable for the gunner.

They just have a monitor dont they, thats infront of them so they dont need to move

Oh wait so they do problery quite hard to make though

Well thats an old Apache cockpit, as far as I know they are replacing that "scope" with a screen.

the IHADSS system allows the gunner to view anything he wants which would be on a MFD (Multi-Functional Display). The Delta model now has 3 MFD's in the Co-pilots seat. This is a great improvement over the sight as the co-pilots head doesnt crack into the scope upon a hard landing (crash for all you simple minded people).
The MFD in the center of the gunners hands controls the MMS (Mass Mounted Sight) or FCR (Fire Control Radar) (...both are the same thing so pick which one you would like to use), and the TADS. The FCR controls the rockets and hellfires while the gunners head controls the turret beneath. This is done by a system of Inferred senensors (CLASSIFIED sry ;) ).

Hope that explains your question, or helps you better shape it.
