many times has spoken of the insurgents.
What we propose is simply to insert a new category of insurrectional: civilians
have:
- Stones
- 1 fild dressing
Should apply the same rules of collaboration, but, unlike them, their respawn time is low (20-30 sec.) Because generally insurrectional wars is the presence of many civilians.
could be an "alternative" to the simple collaborator

The collaborator used to be the civilian
but really, maybe there is a place for both classes, with civilians having the old style punishments and capture rewards.

Re: insurgent suggestion: civilians
The reason civvies were changed to collablrators is because they were being used as willing human shields, standing there while an armed guy shot around them/between their legs/whatever, which is not what the DEVs wanted.
Unfortunately they've now been made nigh useless with their long spawn regardless of type of death and circumstances. Returning the old civvies, while being a move favoured by some of us (inc. me) wouldn't be what the DEVs want.

If the collaborator class was revamped I could see this working...

Isn't an insurgent tactic called "hugging" where you get up next to civilian and civi places like a school and launch attacks to prevent the coalition from firing? Seems realistic in a sense.

A lot of Insurgent organizations utilize human shields. I'd think that it would be pretty realistic. Obviously, we have to fix the spawn time for the collaborator. The problem with BF2, and most FPS games like it is that you go into an urban warfare environment, but you don't see any civilians.
