Spawning problems

I just want to say now that I'm not an idiot, I've had this problem long enough to know that it's not just some stupid mistake.

So anyway, here's the problem. Every time I spawn as any army other than insurgent, I can only spawn at the main base, not where I click. I'm clicking on the forward spawn points(white dots,) and they stay, but once I spawn I'll only be there for a fraction of a second before appearing back at the main base. That's fine if the battle is near the main base, but I don't like walking for 10 minutes just to get to the battle every time I respawn. So, if anybody has had this problem please tell me how to fix it! If not, it's a pretty serious bug.

you're trying to spawn on other squads' rally points. if there's a green number next to the spawn point, it's a squad specific spawn point. if there's a green triangle next to the spawn point, it's a forward base and can be used by anyone.

you might want to read the manual because there are tons of changes from BF2 and knowing about rally points is barely scratching the service.

I would also suggest reading the manual, but he is right you are trying to spawn on other squads rally points which is not possible, the green triangles are FOBS and anyone can spawn on them. You can only spawn on your squads rally point. welcome to the forums good luck learning the game.

I can't spawn on any of the forward bases, not even my own squads base.
