I was actually going to suggest this as well but figured it wouldn't make much of a difference with 10 tickets left you are gonna lose regardless of how the other team is pursuing you.

Not neccersarily, just this past week I played 2 games which both ended in 1-0. It was ridiculously close at the end, with it pretty much coming down to the air support/armor support of both teams. The siren heard by both teams would really make that last minute or so a high stakes, for-the-love-of-god-don't-respawn fight.

I guess that could be true but ask your self, would coding this be worth it for the gain? sounds like a small thing that wouldn't change the game all that much. But I do agree it would be kinda cool and more realistic, maybe it would squeeze some more action out at the end of the map, but usaully people always say GG when there is 10 tickets left so you pretty much know whn its about to be over.

I'm with Ghost's idea, however it will probably give more annoyance than awareness of the few tickets to the team, or to both as the OP suggests.
[R-DEV]Jaymz - If it wasn't for the F-18's incompetence, "Independence Day" would have ended half-way through.
