[?] Flipping normals

Post by smee »

No not a racial slur, well maybe at max. Imported to editor and the normals are flipped. Have tried fliping normals in max but still not coming out right, The normal lines all point out. running out of idea's short of remodelling.

Any suggestions. ( starting to pull hair out )

easy fix...

look up reset xform...

it should sort itself out after that..

essentiallyy when you are modelling it twist/pulls faces out of whack and can cause odd values in the models.. flipped faces etc...

the reset xform modifier simply cleans the model.. or resets all the modified values..

sometimes after you reset xform faces flip.. but if you flip them to the proper orientation and then export it will come out right..
