[Map] Lashkar Valley [WIP]

Today, i proudly present to you my first map that will make appearance in PR 0.9.

i've been working on this project for about 1.5 years now and i've learned a lot during this time so i hope to continue contibuting maps for PR in the future.

- thanks to everyone who commented on my work so far, giving crits etc. that's much appreciated. special thanks go out to rhino for all the helpful pr mapping tuts.

like many guys i started this project in the community modding section and got promoted to R-CON after a while until i got finally upgraded to DEV.
for those who are interested, that's how it started,

let's get straight onto the facts:
- Lashkar Valley, Southern Afghanistan.

- Size: 2km

- Gamemodes: Insurgency/ Skirmish

- Assets: Mechanized Infantry/ Light Vehicles

- Teams: German Forces vs Taliban - this might be subject to change, depends if the GF will be ready for 0.9. ;-)

I'm quite a fan of PR's Insurgency mode, cache hunting, ambushing, closing off pathways. :D

More maps, fresh tactics and schemes. And we'll be seeing it in .9 you say. Pretty sweet. :)

thx a lot. im really intereted for the fights in the middle. two riverarms and also two parts of the town, nice.
hope you add some details like trash/dirt/fracks too

Wow, looks awesome, I like how you can tell where the irrigation areas are near the river. I also like the open feeling and yet confined space it offers in the city areas. Keep it up!

worked on stuff like that a lot recently. and there's still way enough time to mess the place up properly. :-P

I hate myself... argh sorry hans for not posting the screens from the GF testsession to you.
We had some really good fights around village on your map and i got the BR files, just forgot to send you the screens. damn , im so sorry.


map looks ace anyway :D

btw, you think the mountains look better now? it was my main focus lately, a lot more interesting spots up there now, possible cache locations, pathes etc.. and still more to come. 8)
