Were is my Remington 11-87??? Whit slugs, it was my nr 1 weapon, and you have replaced it whit MP5!!!!!!

Why not use the unlock system to make an alternativ, so we can have the option to shoose betwen 11-87 or MP5, would be much better.

Otherwise Awesome mod!!! Well done, love the binoculars, the new layout, but havent had time to try extraksion mod yet, going to try it deepley during the weekend.

Hmm I'm gonna miss the shotty but I'll reserve judgement 'till I try the SMG's.

SMGs are vBF2 SMGs with some tweaks.

Shotty may return. Many players disliked the shotty (seemed like the majority) and the Objective modes really depend upong Enginners .. so we wanted to try and make the more appealing.

We ran into a snag with the unlock system, EA locked us out of it hehe.

Not the final class structure, jsut something to learn from while we move towards a more complete class system overhaul.

yeah i have to say i loved the shot gun. on 16 player maps like oman and karkand, i always had so much fun, and it was almost a challenge. i almost want to say just give the AT the shotty

. but yeah, when they figure out the unlock system, id like to see the choice between shotty and SMG. Alas, I'll see how I like the sub-machine gun/eng combo, who knows i might like it!

Enlighten me, please, why do people hate the shotgun? It's effective at close range, and at long ranges it's just better to use a sniper rifle. I've never seen an engineer rushing the front, and usually they repair things or set mines, and while doing so, they won't need a long range weapon. Perhaps something to defend themselves, like how the anti-tank gets a pistol.

I say the devs implement the masterkey or the XM26 used on the M16/M4. Whatever class gets that, they'll sure be the bosses of city maps. Close range combat combined with long range assault.

Personally I don't see why you can't simply have shotty's on urban maps, and SMG's on other maps.
Kinda like how the US snipers rotate.

Thats actually a good idea...i never personally like the shotty and the mp5 is a really nice gun...especially on 3 round burst
