Team selection screen

Couldn't find if this has been logged yet, but I did do a search, which came up nil.

When I enter the select team (or side) screen - say USA versus PLO. It'll start on the USA tab. If I then click the PLO tab and try to go back to USA, it won't allow me.

Is this a bug?

So you're saying, you join a server and you're on the US team? Then you switch to the PLA team. Now, you are unable to switch back to the US, even though there is a free slot for you to fill.

This is a BF2 thing, not a PR-exclusive "bug".

In order to switch back, you have to spawn, then switch back to the US. You'll die when switching over, but you can switch.

Exactly what CyrusPI said, after switching you have to spawn first to switch back. I'm assuming its to prevent someone from switching back and forth between teams to see where the enemy is.

its a BF2 feature, as octo described to prevent spying on the enemy in between deaths...
