CO working with SL's protocol/problem

I am not much of a fighter my hand[keyboard] eye[monitor/mouse] coordination gets me killed, so i find myself as CO or SL

have not done the CO but 3-4 times .

problem 1
when there is a CO and the SL wants to build a FB he uses T and asks for a FB, the CO accepts/oks it, BUT then the SL says he cant build anything?

he has 2 crates, an Officer kit, and 2-3 SM with him, and has tried to deploy the FB 2-3 times, and keeps getting the "need build order from CO" comm. even tho the CO has granted permission for the FB.



also for you guys who like to be SL, you cant build a new FB if the team has 4 working, one has to be destroyed, you can have the CO do it, or you can do it with a knife to the radio and 9 key.


problem 2
as CO the individual comm key dont work have to use the V[all S] key
BUT that seams to be preferred.
CO gets individual comm from SL's and then relays the comm to all SL, therefore all SL know whats going on, BUT be sure to use call signs[S #] so the CO/SL know who directives are going to.
THIS way all SL know whats going on.

NEGATIVE, takes up time for SL to comm with his S. BUT ive seen where the V is preferred comm of choice, as SL know whats going on with other squads, BUT might not be appropriate for S who like to go there own way.

Problem 3
S and SL's who work on there own no matter what other S or the CO says.

best way to deal with that is to have ALL SL's and the CO yell at them
just last nite on GIB's server i was CO and we had a S who were just out for a hike, the other 4 S's kept asking me to get the rouge S to help, but they did not listen.

Hehe, wow, looks like alot of people really is thinking hard about the command position, and commanding... Kinda cool ey? That for me, means that it is an important part of PR, that needs just as much attention as any other part.
