Post by $pyker »

When terrain lightmapping i seem to get extremely dark shadows even though i am using the exact same objectlight.con and terrainlight.con as assault on mestia. Here is a pic. Any ideas?

you need to tweak your light settings, can be a real b*tch as its all trial and error for the most part....

and set your waterbasin to use either low detail 1 or 2 in the detail texture settings, looks like its using 0 (I would advice you use 1 :p )

Thanks on the low detail type forgot to put the 1 in for that specific texture. As for the lightmaps still pooped on how to fix the super dark terrain shadows even after reading all of that thread
