Weird graphic bug

so im playing not doing anything really just waltzing around with my squad....and then these opaque vertical bars start dancing across my screen. I then have to hit esc and go to the menu then hit esc again and go back and ill be fine. Its really annoying because the menu loads so slowly
Does anyone have any ideas?

Graphic card going out it sounds like...

How old is your card? Overclocked? How do other games run? What kind of card is it?

What graphic settings?

Local Graphics card overheating, IMHO.

Had that on an older card I used to run... after a while the Gfx card would overheat.

Solution: Purchase a new Gfx Card (8800GT or better)

I have the same problem. I also get a freeze some times with blue red or green pixels all over the screen.
I have a 9600GT. I've tried increasing the fan speed to 100% but that doesn't help.

Drop clock speed just a bit. Or at least try lowering the memory clocks, worked for me. Guess the stock coolers get suckier with every new card.
