Re: graphical bug
i agree looks hardware problem to me
If you go to your display properties (right click on desktop, properties) select SETTINGS then ADVANCED, then GEFORCE 6800 GT (or whatever the card is named) then TEMPERATURE SETTINGS (at least with the latest drivers) you can see the current GPU temp there and tell it to inform you if it exceeds the threshold temperature.
I don't know of any utility that stays on your desktop

Video Card Stability Test - Stress Testing & Benchmark the speed of your 3D graphics video cardvarasku wrote:thats something ive thought about, whats a good, safe program to use to display the temp of my gpu?
It's a good stress/stability test. I used it to find out that my gforce 5600 was a long goner

Re: graphical bug
i tried the video stress test program, i was getting around 60fps with the stuff, so it seems alright, and when i tried to find the graphics card temperature stuff, well i couldnt find it, i downloaded a program called speedfan, that says when in pr my temp was atleast 75, so it most likely goes up 85 when im in the game for around 30 mins, but ive heard thats a safe-ish temp for the gpu, or not?

Re: graphical bug
The max temperature of your graphic card can depend on which manufacturer made your graphic card. You should write them an email and ask how high temperature the graphic card can handle. Also did you do the benchmark test?? Did you see any artefactswhen you did the graphic test??
