Balancing Issues

Removal of the tanks from Qwai River has now just made it a mass of APCs for the Chinese to get blown by TOW HMVV and AT kits, no more chinese able to win by tickets and use their vehicles.

Muttrah, Huey respawn too slow, we had 32 players jumping around on the carrier after we got firebases pushed off the land. Why put the littlebirds in a marine map at all if they are only going to be one initial spawn?

Jabal has two attack hueys, this is pretty bad over kill ontop of the APCs the US have, only one AA vehicle, lost by a n00b or bad fortune, or used as a taxi, you've lost the round.

Medic Bug
Sometimes a squad can not spawn its individual medic, which is a major loss to the team, having to all leave the squad and make a new one to spawn a medic.

Thats all I've really found so far. Still getting used to the new squad load out system, could be good though. Will keep you updated.

If i remember correctly the first 2 picture issues, such as the Huey going through the carrier and the mid air rally points where possible in 0.85, so ain't new.

Incorrect. Now it is doable constantly, infact the hueys spawn glitched into the carrier, making them hard to take off sometimes even.

I experienced the medic bug today with my squad. We couldn't spawn as Medic or AR until we dropped squad, waited, and then were able to request the kits from a crate.

As for helis stuck into the carrier, if you're flying hold down the S key before you take off. I know with littlebirds that sometimes clip into things when they spawn, this will make them pop up to the correct level.

This has been reported and the DEVs knew about it pre-release. Do not even say that this mod was not tested because unless you want to spend hours testing dont complain. If we gave you the build when it was first made you would be crying that it was not working.

Balancing Issues
This is not a place to complain about balancing so do that else where.

If this is the case, i can see this causing many problems, and it needs to be fixeds asap

The person can request a new kit and the medic kit he drops is still assigned to ur squad afaik so you can pick it up.

Ive foun't another some of the ladders that where climbable in .85 are not climbable in .86 if your trying to go down you have to fall and hope you land on the ladder as you get half way down

I spotted two main bugs so far:
-When a medic is taking care of a friendly grunt while prone and his/her LMG deployed, you enter the line of sight of the LMG scope and can be shot despite you are BEHING the gun. You must then be behind the feet of the bleeding guy so that you can safely take care of it.
-When being bingo ammo as an Insurgent RPG, you can refill at a cache, but your first draw of the luncher is done without displaying the rocket being insert. You must then draw another item and take the luncher again to avoid this bug.

Wrong.. seen chinese win a couple of times already.. no problem there.

Been allways present. Best thing is medic to be prone and patient crouching.

Yes it did get tested, by ppl who volunteer their time for it. You should know -perhaps you already do- that the team is always looking for more testers who are motivated to do just this. You should try it out some time.. I guarantee it'll be more productive than a rant..

Well the carrier bug was never as bad as now, by a long shot, as shown by screenshot. Not sure how this changed, Hueys never used to clip.

Medic bug, happening not just when people leave squad as medic, also in new squads.

Mid air rallies were a lot harder to make in .85, otherwise we would of been constantly doing it in .85 also.


I'm not complaining, I am merely informing you of the bugs, and to detail, hence screenshots. And I believe my opinion is still my opinion about wether it had been tested thoroughly or not, soz if I caused any offence.

Chopper stuck on crate

Took the big chopper on qi ling ( :D ) short memory so don´t remember the choppers name and spelling of mapname ;)

Dropped a crate and chopper landed on top. It got stuck and couldn´t take off, instead it got hurt and when exiting/entering chopper it could take off again.. then it was to late and chopper was so damaged that it later crashlanded on the way back to main.

I know that the choppers not supposed to land on top of crate, but should it get stuck?

There's a bug when you run with a grenadier kit you can see the grenade floating. Not really sure how else to explain. So I'll let the picture do it.

I think most bugs that are showing up are due to the engine being used.

One of the most aggrivating bugs is the bug i like to call "Peekabo I see you"

Where you are behind cover, you cant see the enemy and in reality you would be out of line of sight, but the enemy can clearly see you from their screen and takes you out. Tested it a couple times and there im sure its a very known bug.

No, animations being wrong, and coding, has nothing to do with the engine. :-P
