Lee Enfields - bolt-action delay

The Lee Enfield, like the snipers in the game, is a bolt-action rifle.
Unlike the snipers in the game, you can't hold the fire-button to delay rechambering (or however it is called) of the next round of the iron sight version..

Is there a reason for this?

What are you on about? You can do that..

he means as a taliban medic you cant hold the left button on your mouse down to keep looking down the iron sights after you have fired to see if you hit a target but still have them up for quick aiming.

I just checked it on a local server and it works just like sniper rifles... the next round will not be loaded while you hold fire button

...it's even in the changelog:
