Deviation
Do you feel the deviation for the weapons in this new patch has changed.
Im starting to think it has quite considerably, Before it was alway's simply a matter of waiting for the deviation to settle and then you where then allowed to fire with reasonable accuracy.
Ever since the patch come out iv really struggled to hit any thing, even when I wait 3-6 seconds for the weapon to settle I still have extremely difficulty hitting any thing even when I have the weapon trained on them,
Im wounding if this is perhaps a bug, or some thing, because this has only happened to me since the last patch was released.

Re: Deviaton
this doesnt seem to happen to me, when i wait for a bit i usually get pretty good shots in, even while standing with the AR kit with deployed mode, are you sure you are not moving?

Re: Deviaton
To me it seems settle time decreases faster, but overall accuracy at minimum deviation is slightly higher.
I could be wrong, but thats what it feels like.

Re: Deviation
I still can be an insurgent running behind a coalition player on insurgency, careflly moving from cover to cover to get in close to take him down; when finally getting close opening up in 2 bullet bursts for him to spin around prone-drop and lay me out in a ''wounded''heap. But then again Ive done that to someone and thought ''wow!'' suddenly feeling like the john wayne of PR. No real change for me other then the odvious changes to the AK74U.

Re: Deviation
A question:
I have seen the excellent deviation and fire cone films on youtube, but what kind of movement reopens the firecone/deviation?
1. If you are scoped and looking around with the mouse only with the scope?
2. If you are stationary but looking about using mouse only?
3. If just moving a little sideways Q or D to hinder distant enemies?
What I am trying to find out is what can I do that will not reset the deviation/cone timer

Re: Deviation
You can see for yourself what it does when ure zoomed in with the HAT. You see those 2 shapes move the edge of the screen? Than u just reset the Deviation.
Anyway to answer ure questions:
Sighted/Zoomed in and looking around does not give you much deviation. Only when you look around fast and heavily. Tracking ure target should not do anything.
Same as above. Many a times I was deploying a HAT, and did not move, when I sighted in my deviation was at minimum.
Moving with WASD has major impacts on the Deviation if I remember correctly.
Like I said, open a local game or join a training server, get a HAT, sight in and see for yourself

Re: Deviation
i think ak74s are way more accurate but i can definitely feel the 30% decrease in ak47 accuracy which is oh so upsetting

Re: Deviation
Well it just weird really it seems this is only really effecting me. It might be deviation or some thing im not entirely sure,
I have idea's about what coursing this, it could be the incremental patch im using, that all i can think of.

Re: Deviation
Shouldnt be a difference if you use incremental or not. Just try some different waiting periods before shooting. With most weapons, If I wait a few seconds or just 2 or 3 I can place a headshot where I want to place one. So I dont notice anything different or harder.

Re: Deviation
I have a feeling that more and more players have found a way to turn off the deviation and surpressing effect. the last weeks it happen very often that i lay on a hidden spot without moving, wait for an target, aim 5 - 8 seconds shoot him in the rear, hold him under fire and he turn around and place 2 shoots acurate in my head. and this was not only one guy.

Um no, there was a problem on my end. i narrowed down the problem to my hit reg and i since then fixed the problem, i hope EA fixes the hit reg in there 1.5.Warpig- wrote:It's more accurate for me new, I like. Must be in your head mate lol

Re: Deviation
the accuracy isnt influenced as much when you simply turn. if he used wasd then it would have reset, but if he simply turned, then the accuracy is still acceptable to return fire.W4chund wrote:I have a feeling that more and more players have found a way to turn off the deviation and surpressing effect. the last weeks it happen very often that i lay on a hidden spot without moving, wait for an target, aim 5 - 8 seconds shoot him in the rear, hold him under fire and he turn around and place 2 shoots acurate in my head. and this was not only one guy.
