I would love to see crosshair sway as well. This could be decreased depending on the position (standing, crouching, prone) and completely replace the uber unrealistic random shot deviation on the sniper rifles. Deploying a bipod could completely eliminate all scope sway, but greatly decrease mobility and angle of fire.
I would like to see some sway on all weapons at least partially replacing the random shot deviation. Of course an l85 will have less random deviation than a 9mm weapon, but the deviation for all weapons should be set in stone. The deviation would not increase/decrease with different firing positions, but the sway would. Sway should also be a major factor when first taking aim.
Currently, one can immediatly look down the sights and have insta-steady aim. The weapon sway should not only vary depending on firing position, but the amount of time a weapon is given to "settle". Quickly moving one's ironsights around the screen should also cause one's aim to unsettle for a moment. Anyone who has fired a real weapon should know what I'm talking about.
Although it would be more difficult to land accurate shots on enemies standing, It can still be done if one is a skilled marksman and they let the weapon settle.

Sight sway
I really hate the random cone of fire effect BF2 has. While PR improves this, it is still noticable at further ranges (especially with a sniper rifle). While crouching, I can never hit anything accuratly out past 75m. I think that instead of having a random cone of fire get larger and smaller between positions, scope sway should be implemented. Different stances yeild different amounts of sway. This way, when I use an assault rifle and I let my shot line up perfectly, I should be able to hit somebody accuratly out to 300m (If BF2 will even let you see that far
) A quote by me, from another post:
