I removed the F key, because it's what I plan to use for Mumble. (when I get it working)
I have the H key binded to transmit in Teamspeak, the \ button to mute, and various combination's for changing channels. I bound my footpedals for acceleration control in vehicles and boats, and rudder controls in helicopters and aircraft. I bound the attached steering wheel for steering in land vehicles and boats, and I bound the joystick for controlling the pitch and banking of helicopters and aircraft. I also use the throttle on the joystick for flying helicopters and aircraft.
As for the buttons on the joystick, I bound the primary and secondary fire commands to the primary and secondary triggers on the joystick, respectively. I bound the flare key to button 3, and the afterburner to button 4.
On my wheel, I bound button one for boost, and button 2 for countermeasures. (So I can leave my left hand on the wheel, and my right hand on the mouse.
On my desktop, I would use joytokey (a joystick keyboard and mouse emulator) to control mouse movement with my joysticks hat switch, so my thumb would not get so tired when I was manning an AAV. ( I use a trackball mouse )
Oh yeah, I switched the v and b comm keys around, because I played BF 2142 before BF2, and that's how it was defaulted. (It makes more sense to me anyway)
I'm starting to think the problem may be with vista, maybe it's making PR the dominant program, so no other programs get key commands, or something.
