Power tripping

Post by Sparky.mark420 »

Seems like some administraters (Virginia usa) seem to forget that this is a new thing to some players, some players just want to experiment with weapons,or just want to have some fun without being directed on what to do all the time. But mostly just to have fun. When I played today on Virginia USA server the commander was the asmin and was extremely rude, kicking people off for not "showing enough respect" and even banned me for firing off at rocket into the road. Clearly he's power-tripping and forgot that this is a game to be played and to have fun on. I will clearly not donate to that server. Last month I donated 75$ to a server, month before that 50$. I don't have much but I felt that they deserved it. Virginia USA was going to be this months recipient of my monthly donation but as of now I think there are other servers that are more deserving.

Try not to openly bash other servers, it just creates drama which makes things worse. As for what happened, some servers are like that, you will find people in all games that are on power trips.

Best thing to do, go to another server.

Yea, if you have a complaint about a server, post on their respective forums. This should be a tip when loading a map :!:

I agree, saves people from posting on the main board, not a lot the Devs can do with cases like this, I suppose their server license could be revoked but evidence would need to be supplied.

Hello Sparky.mark420,

Welcome to the PR forums and to Project Reality.

Like you've already been told you should better take that problem to their forums as no one here is able to help you and it could lead to a flame war.

Keep in mind to also read the PR Manual. It's very useful for beginners.

Server licenses are not going to be revoked because of the way an admin manages his server. It's up to the respective admin if he wants a populated server or not.

As for testing things on a public server. There are training server where all new players can test all weapons and vehicles. ;)

The PR forums are not the place to air your grievances about particular servers. If you don't agree with their policies, take it up with them on their own forums.
