Black and White screen not showing...

So..im not sure if this started after or before i got my new card.

whats happening is when im severly wounded, i start coughing, cant sprint, and yet i dont see the black and white effect...i have waited until i die to make sure and it doesnt show...

I am running PR via the short cut....my questiong is how do i fix it...

somebody plz help...

new card specs are....BFG Nvidia 9600 GT OC (by manufacture)...512 mb

i think it will not be black and white anymore, that was an older version...
now its just blurry (gas effect from special forces addon) if i remember correctly

Oh....but the thing is that i dont get anything...i just get a normal looking screen with the sound effect of coughing really bad and not being able to sprint...

Try this: turn your grapics settings to low, join a server, disconnect and restore your previous grapics settings.

Its a bug with certain cards, nothing that can be done really.

If you have AA on try turning it off, I know for me AA makes the black-white effect not appear.

that could actually be the prob..ever since i got the new card i beefed it up 2 8x


**EDIT** that did the trick...=p guess ill have 2 live without black and white screens
