When we have a rifleman in the squad, primarily to supply the squads L-AT, the ammo he drops often isn't sufficient. Mainly because if you have been walking a long time with your squad you have probably encountered infantry and the L-AT guy has most probably helped shooting with his rifle. Now when the rifleman drops his ammo bag for the L-AT guy to reload after he has shot his L-AT at a vehicle, he won't get the rocket because the priority goes to his rifle ammo.
I suggest this is tweaked a bit, maybe give the L-AT priority, or increase the amount of ammo you can get from an ammo bag?

Re: Ammo AT
Well I looked for the original post, but couldn't find it so I'll improvise. One of the DEVs stated this in an earlier suggestion. There are only two types of ammo in PR, vehicle ammo and infantry ammo. Everything from HA-Ts to pistols falls in the category of infantry ammo. Ammo bags carry this infantry ammo and it cannot differentiate between rockets and rifle ammo.

Re: Ammo AT
This has been discussed repeatedly.
BF2 resupply priority and speed is based off of the max number of magazines for a 'weapon.' This means that if a player has potential for 8 rifle magazines, 4 hand grenades and a bandage, the rifle magazines will resupply the fastest and first, then grenades and finally the bandage.

Re: Ammo AT
If one would increase the ammo capacity of the one ammo bag, you could resupply the ammo of the ammo bag and therefore gain unlimited rifleman ammo.
What you could do is dedicated one rifleman to only use is ammo bag to resupply the L-AT and everyone else would need to back away from the bag. The Rifleman AT hopefully didnt use his field dressing and only used a few mags.

I remember once you could resupply your ammo bag from the ammo bag you'd just dropped. That's why it was decreased I believe.

Re: Ammo AT
Indeed. If you can re-arm AT from it, you can re-arm your own bag from it -> trouble.

Re: Ammo AT
So are you saying that one L-AT round equals exactly the same "amount" of ammo as an ammo bag? (if you were restocking on ammo)

Re: Ammo AT
I think that's what he just said, besides I doubt they can fit an AT4 tube inside one of those little bags
Anyways aslong as you got a cooperative team you can get ammo from someone ask a humvee to drive by and drop some chopper etc.

Re: Ammo AT
IIRC
1 ammo bag gives 199 ammo points
to reload 1 ammo bag you need 200 ammo points.
each WEAPON EMPTY SLOT needs 100 points to fill. so
8 mags = 100 points
1 dressing (not officer or medic) = 100 points
5 dressings (medic) = 100 points
1 LAT = 100
1 HAT = 100
1 AA = 100
3 LMG mags = 100
3 granadier smoke granades = 100
ect.
SO, IF you used 1 dressing and 1 HAT, you WILL NOT get anything
if you used 2 mags and a LAT you WILL get them all.
IF you have 3 guys near a ammo bag, everyone who is near will recive equal ammo points and will probably only recive some mags and nades.
