All kits blocked due to squad limitations.
This has happened to me multiple times in this version and the last, sometimes all kits will become unavailable to request even if no one in the squad has one, It happened to me today on Fallujah, all kits were unavailable due to squad limitations and it goes for everyone in the squad. The only way to fix it is to completely disband the squad.

i've had it when i am playing marksman on fallujah and i've just died. i go to the repair station to request the kit back and it says unavailable due to squad limitations, there is no marksman as i have just died.
i wait for a min and request again and i get my kit back.

I think its a feature added in .86 so that a squad cant "whore" kits.

TBH I like this option, though like everything in life it has its own caveats. Though the one side is that in the long run those players who simply want to join a squad, grab an AR/Medic kit and leave will undoubtedly realize that they are in fact hindering their own team, due to squad bugs that come about it. I also like it because it stops lone wolfers, and will eventually like most other things weed them out and expose them and then they either will A) Step up and be a part of the team or B) quit and leave.

I have experienced this several times. We couldn't get medic, AR, LAT, Grenadier. Nada.
Needless to say it resulted in a not so successful squad.

Requestable kits, have always been limited, since I first started playing PR, way back when certain kits requestable kits were always limited, and if were killed while using them there is a time limit until they spawn again. Its a good thing, or every squad would have a HAT kit, or a Grenadier Kit, and PR would turn into BF2 Vanilla.
The Medic/AR limitation due to reckless/non-teamplaying players (not including those who get disconnected or ctd) is an issue I have seen less and less of since the release of .86.
I am curious what map you were on that not having a LAT or grenadier make it unsuccessful. I understand your frustration with no Medic, and have sympathy for no AR, but not having the other kits still can allow the squad to build firebases, set down rally points, capture flags, find caches etc.....

I don't know why drs79 thinks this is "due to reckless/non-teamplaying players"... it's clearly a serious bug that needs to be solved. I would say this is the only 0.86 bug that I notice, and it is a huge pain in the *** when it does occur. It is less prevalent now that people know about it and how to work around it, but it still comes up far too often.
