HAHAHA, yes, no more lagg. Say with you want, but that was doing more harm then good.

Say what you want, but Satcom did a superb job on the mod with his 2 teammates, and brought mods to the masses. I'm sure 50%+ of all players are playing PRMM because its a mod where they can track their stats.

I agree with you both in a way.

There was a lot of work put into ABR, and we appreciate that.
But, perhaps players will learn to follow orders now that
rank doesn't matter.

woohooo. It doesn't matter if they put a lot of work into it. It had no place in this mod.

Actually, they had released their end of round delay fix just before the 1.3 patch came out. So the PRMM world should not suffer from end of round delays any longer and it's also not a R.I.P. for ABR in general, only for the Public (vBF2) world.

ABR also does have a Proof of Concept working. And keep in mind that ABR wasn't the only casualty of 1.3, PR's mixed game modes are also affected.

The last thing this mod should be about is rank. We get so many people in there who ask how to get ranks or if there are unlocks or wondering how to rank up etc. They should be worrying about playing as a team instead of themselves which stats promote. I don't know anyone who has claimed that they have worked together as a team yet because they will get more points except maybe some of the DEVs.

We also lose half the server when you get that lagg at the end.

I might have to restate this since it's sort of hidden in my previous post.

ABR is not dead. The PRMM ABR world is open for business as usual. Only the vBF2 ABR world has been shut down.

The ABR team fixed that a few days ago.

I signed it. Whether you perfer ABR or not, and whether it affects us or not, is irrelevant. It is the entire principal of the thing. It shows even further that not only does EA not support the modding community, but that it is taking steps to hurt mods.

The ABR team worked hard to give people who want stats that option. Their work should not be shortchanged.

Exactly what i'm trying to say.

BF2 mods - we're all a big community, really. Although we're competing, we should still look out for each other.

ABR guys props for effort, but ABR and PR is mixing oil with water.

Ranks and stats influence PR gameplay in a negative way.

Signed.

I don't care a hoot about ranks but actually trying to break alternative ranking systems that have no negative effect on the game is so childish.
