[PROBLEM] Windows 7 x64 CTD when game is loaded (verifying client info)

Hi there, I have been looking through various threads but cant seem to find a fix for my problem.

Im running Windows 7 RC Build 7137 x64 on this rig:

CPU: AMD PhenomII x2 550 @ 3.1GHz
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H
RAM: 2x2GB Corsair TWIN2X4096-8500C5C DDR2-1066
GFX: Sapphire 4890 Vapor-X 1GB
PSU: Corsair HX620W

Whenever I try to join a server I get a CTD. The game will load to 100%, get to verifying client info and sit there for the usual amount of time then CTD. I've followed the installation guide, updated PB, enabled PnkBstrA and B and still getting the same problem. I ran it in windowed mode and took a SS of this that came up when it happened.



Any help would be greatly appreciated

Check if your resolution in your game's option isn't 800x600. It must be higher. Also are you using the mini-image?

Hey guys
I had a problem like this but i didn't see that error message. Mine would crash to desktop at the same point if i had textures set to high. I set it to medium and i can load in.

Try it, it may work

i'm running windows 7 RC build 7100
