A CTD problem that is unsolved by anything I have found

I have this problem:
Project Reality CTD every time I click on Audio options or try to join any game. I have changed my resolution, lowered settings, increased vurtual memory, every thing. Nothing works, please help.
I have a Nividia Geforce 9800 Video card.

I can start a Local Training server, but then when I click the button to Deploy to battle the game crashes.

I have almost the same thing! I couldn't go into video options though, but that worked after I added "+Fullscreen 0" into the target of the pr.exe. Still CTD when a map is 100% loaded though.

I tryed adding the "+Fullscreen 0" to my PR.exe's target, nothing changed.
Please help.

Installation timeline

1. Install BF2

BF2:EF Expansion |--- If you have expansion packs, this is when they should be installed
BF2:AF Expansion |

2. Install the latest Full BF2 Patch (Currently: 1.41)
3.Install the latest PR Build (Currently: v0.860) that uses two installers
The two installers are listed as CORE and LEVELS.
3a. If you have PR 0.856 already installed: Run the Project Reality 0.860 Patch Installer to update it to v0.86
