game crash on loading

I didnt do anything to my PR and then it started to crash on the splashscreen so i reinstalled and it got from the splashscreen to the loading screen where it crashs on map loads this only happens in PR and not vanilla and other mods which are having the time of their life kicking me for PB problems corrupted file/memory [81159] if anyone can give me a hand with either of these problems i would very much appriciate it

well you should really check if the ram is corrupted then?
since you got vista there already is a tool integrated:
memtest.exe - Greatis Software

here is how to update punkbuster manually this usually fixes a lot of seemingly unrelated problems:

when you get crashes again...
to get an error msg from bf2 you can start it in windowed mode:
change your link's parameters to "+fullscreen 0"
try reproducing the error and
then google the error message you get from bf2

Everony keeps saying that adding "+fullscreen 0" will make the game go in windowed mode and that you'll get an error message. Neither of those things occur when I type that in. This is how I typed it:

"E:\Program\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +Fullscreen 0

Have I put it wrong somehow?

its got to be lower-case "f": +Fullscreen -> +fullscreen 0
otherwise it wont work
