BF2 1.5 patch, can't install...

Hey ppl!

I want do upgrade my bf2 and pr to 1,5 and 0,87. but i have a problem.

When I'm trying to run the bf2 patch installer it says that i dont have enough disc space on my hard drive (1600 mb) But i actually have over 130 gb free space! :O
And after that the installation aborts.

So i tried to uninstall the game, but then when i'm running the uninstaller it says: Its not possible to see what version you are using. and then the uninstaller quits.

I dont know how to solve this problem, are anyone experiencing the same problem? Any solution?

Ps. all the error msgs are translated from Swedish

Computer: dell XPS 360i
My specs is:
Intel core 2 quad CPU Q6600 @2,4 GHz
4 gb RAM
2x Nvidia 9800 GT (SLI)
Windows vista 32 bit

hard drives are usually seperated into partitions so you might have enought space on the hard drive but not on the particular partition you are trying to install - verify if this is the case partition is like a virtual hard drive so drive "C" and "D" might be partitions on the same HDD

incase you are not admin the person responsible for this pc has set up a disk quota which will limit your free space althought the hdd has enough free space
