Just Upgraded/Patched BF2 From v1.41 to v1.5 + 1.5 Bug Fix [rendDX9.zip /Dice], Restarted PC [XP]
Patched PR From 0.86 to 0.874, [BF2v1.41 & PRv.086 Worked Fine]
All Anti-Virus/Personal Firewall/Programs Shut Down Before Patch/Upgrades
All Done Under Administrator.
Restarted PC. Started PR.
Attempted PR Login, INCORRECT PASSWORD, Reset Password From EA, 3rd Time,
Email's Received, Linked To EA, Login
Changed password From There EA Emailed Default, Saved.
PR Login Password Still Incorrect,
No Problem[s] Logging Into EA Site/Forum.
Any Idea's?,
Really Wanted To Get Out There & Kill Something Tonight!

UPDATE: Got It, Finally Figured Out, Goto Gamespy, Reset Password, Logged In Everything Seem's Ok

Delete the BF2 folder in your documents and run PR again ..

Backup your BF2 folder that's inside your documents folder. Once you have a backup delete the original from your documents folder.
Try starting PR from your PR shortcut
a new default folder is created
link to your online account.
If all goes well (CTD gone) all you have to do to get your custom settings back is copy your 'control' file from your backup to the new profile folder.
path:
C:\Users\your user name here\Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0002
note: you may not have a 0002 folder so use 0001
