pr.exe has stopped working

Reinstalled Bf2 for the third time.
patched 1.4, 1.41, and 1.5.
Added pr v.874 core then pr v.874 levels.
All in that order.
Still getting "pr.exe has stopped working".
I miss playing pr.
Do I need to add v.85, patch to .86, then patch to .87?
Any help would be apprecited.
