Punkbuster help/Problem solved!

I just got a new computer today. i installed BF2, got it to version 1.5, then installed the proper version of PR. everything works until i load into a game. i am immediately kicked by punkbuster for a communication failure. it says "communication failure with PnKBsTr A" or something like that. the key words are communication failure and pnkbstr A.
ive looked in my windows firewall and it does not even appear on the list of blocked/unblocked. help?

PS Srry if there is a post similar to this one made a while ago. i know there are many punkbuster related issues, but i thought that the new computer part was significant and may not be covered in other posts.

I suggest downloading PBSVC: http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe

Start it, but select the "Un-Install..." option. Go through the uninstaller. When it's done, start pbsvc.exe and do the default "Install..." option.

If that still doesn't work, check any other security software you have running and make sure the pb services are allowed.

hmm. when i clicked on the link and ran the program, i could not check the uninstall option. so i installed it. maybe it didnt install? im going to check and see if PR works
