PR Single player and v0.87 ??

Hi guys...I'm new to the world of BF2 and PR.

I have been playing Rainbow six, Rogue spear, Counter Strike source for ages and now HL2 Insurgency Mod (really awesome mod btw). I figured out it's time to move on in my quest for the ultimate realistic shooter.

I have bought BF2 for 10 bucks today....installing it right now as we speak.

BF2 v1.41 almost done downloading too.
BF2 v1.5 is also downloading.

What i would like to do because i am a super uber noob to Project Reality...is to first start off with single player (co-op..etc.) so when i enter the servers i don't distroy the fun for myself or the server mates i'm playing with.

What i now need to know is after installing BF2 v1.41 and installing PR multiplayer v0.85 and FINALLY installing PR single player v0.85......

.....Is it possible to install the latest PR v0.87 ....and still keep the singleplayer v0.85 working ???

or should i just forget about single player v0.85 after i have practiced around with it and just upgrade to v0.87 ??


Sorry i'm asking this but its just all got complicated for me, so much patching and stuff to do.......unlike for example Valve's HL2 insurgency mod where they do it all for us lol.

I tried to find the exact answer to my questions in this forum but couldn't find something definite...

Well, i have installed pr 0.87 and prsp 0.85 still works for me.

Hang on a few more days and PRSP 0.87 should be ready.
