BF2 Patch 1.5 help

I have just started playing PR after a few months break.
Installed my v0.85 to v0.86 successfully and then tried to run the EA patch 1.5 before
updating to v0.87 but it tells me it cant find my original BF2 install and then exits the install.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this, I dont really want to install everything again, and my BF2 install is in the default place?(although my patch doesnt even give me the option to find the install)

You must install Battlefield 2 v1.5 before installing PR.

Once Bf2 1.5 is installed.

You install PR core 0.87 (first)

And PR Levels 0.87 (last)

Thanks for the post.
However I know that you need to install BF2 patch v1.5 to play PR.
But when i try to install the BF2 v1.5 patch it wont install saying that it can't find
my original BF2 install?(eventhough it is installed in the default directory).
Has anyone had a similar problem, and how do u resolve it?

If it doesnt let you show the installer where the original bf2 is, you can always reinstall whole bf2 + mods, but you could first check some official bf2 forums, im sure there are others with same issue.

Remember to grab the hotfix so you can alt+tab without crashing your game.

if u unistalled bf2 of ur comp, u will need 1.41 patch first then 1.5 patch.
then the pr files ofc
